Woof Woof 100th Post!

Today is a celebration at eatdogeat, for this is the 100th post. Ahhhh, it feels so good. Here's to another hundred posts (and the hope that at least a few people read them). Oh so bittersweet.

Anyway, who more appropriate for a 100th post celebration than Tom Waits? It turns out he voiced a dog food commercial for 'Butcher's Blend' forever ago. Beeeeef, liver, bacon.

Bam! A dog food commercial by Tom Waits on a music blog called eatdogeat. That's so relevant, I don't think I will ever post again. Here's another Tom Waits song, one of my favorites:

Will I see you tonight? Reading eatdogeat?

Wilco, Wilco, Wilco

Wilco will love you baby, and you will love Wilco.  The formerly alt-country turned dad-rock band is releasing a new album in June called 'Wilco (The Album).'  Judging by the name of the album it is going to be really....well....creative?  Lets hope its their experimental side and not a Volkswagen-commercial fodder snooze-fest like last time.  Well, Feist is appearing on it, so they have that going for them.  In other Wilco news, here is a somewhat old video of them performing on the Colbert Report.  What's the song called?  'Wilco the Song?!'  You guys are freaking killing me.

Metatastic!

While spending some of my valuable free time seeing what other eatdogeat websites are out there, I found a band called Remember that somehow travelled into the future, recorded a theme song for eatdogeat (this blog), then travelled back into obscurity.  Mind blown!  This song is somewhat grungy-hardcore sounding and perfectly captures the spirit of this blog.
